With the washout of the Crepe Escape route, the elements offered Audax FNQ another great option. There was water everywhere, and Tinaroo was flowing over the spillway for the first time in seven years.
What better way to spend a Sunday morning than riding the dirt roads of the Tablelands, sightseeing around Tinaroo Dam with 125 of your closest mates, then relaxing with a few cold ones at Kairi Pub.
The group was left in the very capable hands of first-time RO, Kathy, and her band of willing volunteers, Steve, Rex, Jan, Glynis, Nola, Toby and Gary. According to all accounts, it was a fabulous morning out. Thanks again to Jimmy for his great footage of the day.
